At the petition filed by Sagarika Music Pvt. Ltd. and the Indian Music Industry against the popular music site songs.pk not to allow download, stream and reproduce copyright music on its site, the Calcutta High court passed an authoritative order to all the Internet Service Providers and Mobile service providers to ban the site.
The service providers include Dishnet Wireless, Reliance WiMax, Hathway Cable & Datacom Pvt Ltd, Hughes Communications India, Tata Tele (Maharastra), Reliance World, Wipro Ltd, Sify Technologies Ltd, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, BG Broadband (now You Telecom) in the petition.
